With the Lynx trailing 5-1 in the 6th, Sophomore Allison Conn doubled and later scored on an RBI single by Freshman Elise Suna to bring Rhodes to within 3 runs at 5-2. Rhodes would load the bases with 2 outs, but could not get the big hit and entered the 7th trailing by 3.
A 1-out double by Freshman Kelli Zomer and a single by Freshman Caroline Cooper put the tying run at the plate for Rhodes with only 1 out, but Rhodes was unable to get the big hit and push the runs across.
Suna and Zomer each had 2 hits for the Lynx, who fall to 3-3 on the season.
